Appointments and Cancellations

We work closely with you to schedule appointments that align with your goals, treatment needs, and our mutual availability. Payments for each appointment can be made through Headway using debit, credit card, or ACH transfer. We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel an appointment, please let us know in advance to avoid any fees. For last-minute cancellations or no-shows, a fee may apply. For more information on our cancellation policy, including cutoff periods and fees, please feel free to reach out to us directly.



Availability and After-Hours Emergencies

Our providers check voicemail messages during regular business hours and will return your call as soon as possible. If you leave a message outside these hours, we will get back to you the next business day. If you are experiencing a crisis or immediate distress, such as suicidal or homicidal thoughts, please contact emergency services by calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency department.



Contacting Your Provider

We strive to give our full attention to each client during sessions, which means we might not always answer the phone immediately. You are welcome to leave a message on our confidential voicemail, and we will return your call after reviewing your chart. Please allow us a day or two for non-urgent matters. We promise to notify you in advance about any planned absences and will provide contact information for another mental health professional who can assist during those times. If we need to reschedule your appointment at the last minute, rest assured we’ll reach out promptly to reorganize or have a staff member connect with you.



Discharge Process

Ending our professional relationship may be based on varying reasons, and we want to ensure this is handled thoughtfully. Whether you wish to transition to another provider or we believe another clinician might better meet your needs, we will engage in a discussion with you to understand and address these reasons together. We can provide a list of other qualified providers if desired. To ensure seamless support, we will extend the discharge process based on your treatment requirements, offering time-limited emergency support after notifying you of our discharge plan. Your well-being is our top priority throughout this process.
